This is my fifth post for the Lensbaby Blog Circle. We are a group of photographers from around the world in love with the special glowy and/or funky effects of the Lensbaby lenses, and every month each of us is photographing a project–a “day in the life” or a group of photos around a central theme, such as, here again, macro photos of late summer flowers…All of these shots were taken during the past month in my neighbor’s garden with my Lensbaby Velvet 56. Some have textures added, some are minimally processed; it all depended on my mood at the time.
I hope you enjoyed my sweet and soft macro zinnias. Next month I’ll be able to add a new lens to the mix, the Lensbaby Sol I received for my 50th birthday earlier in September. I can’t wait. The Velvet adds a wonderful glow, but I’m looking forward to trying out Sol’s special effects.
